Citizen Commitment Games
Ohridska Bank part of the global corporate challenge
After the Citizen Commitment Week, the bike races and the other charity events organized by Societe Generale, this year as part of the company’s 150th anniversary, the Group launched new internal challenge: Citizen Commitment Games! This event was real opportunity for employees to take part and get involved with a collective and charitable challenge, as competitor or a supporter. More than just sporting competition, the Citizen Commitment Games represent a global internal corporate project, drawing on its capacity to gather and unify employees around solidarity, and team spirit.
The finals of the Citizen Commitment Games took place on 14 June 2014 (Saturday) in Paris, France. Part of this global group challenge were 4.500 competitors, 15.017 supporters, 506 volunteers and 790.000 EUR were gathered. These numbers witness outstanding success of the project which contributed in strengthening team spirit and feel of belonging to the Group and it will also contribute in creating better life for many people, thanks to the cooperation with a numerous charity organizations worldwide.
Ohridska banka also took part of the Citizen Commitment Games and the winners from the local qualifications in Skopje represented the bank in the great finals in Paris. The teams BBB Kings (table tennis) and Macedonian Lions (football) represented Ohridska banka with dignity and came back with many positive impressions from the overall experience.
Their announcements are proof for the great organization of the event in which participated more than 630 contestants from all around the world. There were 6 sport disciplines on the finals and winners in the separate disciplines are representatives from Ivory Coast, Czech Republic, the UK, India and France.
Part of this global challenge were more than 20.000 employees from many countries and this event will go down as a momentous occasion in our corporate history.
