EBRD LINE OF CREDIT FOR SUPPORTING MICRO-, SMALL- AND MEDIUM-SCALE ENTERPRISES’ COMPETITIVENESS
Intended for financing projects involving micro-, small- and medium-scale enterprises registered in the Republic of North Macedonia, more than 51 % of the capital of which is privately owned, aimed at promoting their competitiveness and improving their harmonization with the technical standards laid down in the EU directives and legislation.
Advantages
- Amounts of up to Euro 1,000,000
- Minimum loan repayment period of 18 months
- Grace period of up to 12 months
- Method of payment – quarterly or monthly
- • After the project has been completed and verified successfully,
15 % of the total amount of the credit shall be reimbursed to the client.

Criteria and collaterals
- Real estate mortgage
- Pledge of movables
- Executive bill of exchange in the form of a notary act
- Other instruments that the Bank deems acceptable
This Line of Credit prohibits and excludes financing of the following:
- Manufacturing and/or exports of weapons or military equipment
- Financial institutions or companies providing financial services
- Insurance companies
- Real estate agencies
- Production or exports of tobacco or alcohol
- Sale of tobacco or alcohol (except when the sale of tobacco or alcohol is not the client’s primary business activity)
- Casinos or other gambling facilities
- Speculative ventures in property or currencies, or other speculative venture activities
- Investment in securities of any kind, here also including investments in the shareholding capital of other companies
- All activities included in the EBRD’s Environmental and Social Exclusion List
